Michelle Hertel
LAC

I pride myself on providing a safe space for all individuals who experience unique challenges and discrimination.

I often define myself as an altruist; a person who shows concern for the well-being of everyone, without the bias of their own interests or opinions. I work with a multitude of personality disorders, neurodivergent individuals, family/marriage dynamics, anxiety, and discovering self-identity. I offer an empathetic approach to everyone. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I pride myself on providing a safe space for all individuals, including members of my own community who experience unique challenges and discrimination. I want to hear your story and help you navigate through the parts that challenge you. Most of my clients are individuals who are looking to gain a better understanding of themselves while learning how to set boundaries in their own lives.

I offer an empowering environment that will help you to recognize your true potential. I love building genuine connections with each of my clients and learning about the small details! In my sessions, I often use mindfulness techniques, DBT, and thought reframing/CBT. My usual style in my sessions is patient and understanding, yet direct when needed.
